Members must maintain an A (90) average to remain members in good standing. In addition, all members are required to submit a community service record of at least 25 hours per academic year in order to remain active. One hour of service must be accumulated by attending at least two Beta Club meetings over the course of the year. This hour must be certified via officer signature. Each hour must be verified with the signature of an administrator of activity or volunteer service. This is non-paid volunteer work for the community or others (but not family members). Hours turned in have to be selfless service for the community or others. Failure to acquire 25 service hours in current school year will disqualify a member for Beta membership the following academic school year, regardless of GPA at the start of the following year.
NEW RULE THIS YEAR ---
All members must accumulate 25 hours of service.
